Declutter

Sort through your items and decide what you no longer need. Donate, sell, or recycle items you don’t want to take with you. This will reduce the amount you need to pack and move, saving time and money.
Plan Ahead

Book your moving date as early as possible, especially if you're moving during peak seasons like summer or weekends.
Notify Important Parties

Update your address with banks, insurance companies, utilities, and subscription services well in advance of your move.
Label Boxes Clearly

Clearly label each box with its contents and the room it belongs to. This will make unpacking much more manageable.
Pack an Essentials Box

Prepare a box with essential items you'll need immediately after the move, such as toiletries, a change of clothes, important documents, chargers, and basic kitchen supplies.
Looking after pets during a move

Moving can be a stressful event, not just for you but also for your pets. Consider arranging for a pet sitter or a friend to look after your pets on moving day. This can significantly reduce their stress and keep them out of the chaos. If that’s not possible, designate a quiet room where your pets can stay with their essentials like food, water, and some familiar toys. Make sure the room is clearly marked so our movers know not to enter. Transporting your pets should be done in a secure, well-ventilated carrier, and it is essential to keep them restrained during the journey for their safety. Once at your new home, set up a similar designated space to help them adjust gradually. Remember to update their microchip details and tags with your new address.
